Job summary

PTS Advance is seeking a mid-level Mechanical Engineer withOil & Gas experience for our client in Bellingham, WA (hybrid: 2 days remote, 3 days in office). The role focuses on designing piping, rotating equipment, and pressure vessels for petrochemical projects, with responsibilities across design, reviews, and project execution.

You will mentor junior engineers, ensure compliance with ASME/API standards, and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams while maintaining schedules and budgets.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited B.S. in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–10 years of petrochemical/oil & gas experience.
• PE preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed designs compliant with codes and client standards.
• Develop project scope for proposals and awarded work.
• Provide guidance to junior engineers.
• Track progress against schedules and budgets.
