Job summary

Coffman Engineers in Burlington, WA is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with 4+ years of experience in heavy industrial Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Pipeline and related facilities. You will design, manage projects, and lead a multidisciplinary team within a collaborative office environment.

The role requires a PE license in WA (preferred), a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, and hands-on experience with P&ID drawings, piping layouts, and cost development. Travel to sites will be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• P.E. license in Washington preferred.
• 4+ years in oil & gas, refining, petrochemical, power, and/or pipeline industries.
• Ability to lead a multidiscipline engineering team and communicate with stakeholders.
• Experience with front end loading engineering process and cost development for mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage heavy industrial Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Pipeline facilities.
• Lead a multidiscipline engineering team and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Prepare and review piping and instrumentation diagrams, isometrics, and Bills of Materials.
• Travel to project sites to provide support as needed.
