EEA Consulting Engineers seeks a Mechanical Engineer to join its Industrial market sector in Austin, TX. This role supports mechanical design across projects, manages schedules and budgets, and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

The ideal candidate has a Texas PE, ABET-accredited degree, and strong experience in HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection, with AutoCAD & Revit proficiency. Hybrid schedule offered with ESOP and merit-based growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• Professional Engineer License in Texas.
• Significant experience in mechanical engineering within the MEP industry and project management.
• Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit; ability to produce high-quality drawings.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design projects from conception to completion, meeting codes and standards.
• Manage project teams, timelines, budgets, and client communications.
• Serve as main liaison for clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Perform detailed analysis and design of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection).
• Produce drawings using AutoCAD and Revit and ensure code compliance.
