You will shape designs from schematics to construction documents, engage with clients, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a hybrid work environment.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, problem solving, and a hands‑on approach to design quality and code compliance for Seattle-area

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-7 years in mechanical engineering within the construction industry.
• Proficient in Revit, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
• 5+ years’ experience modeling systems & compiling construction documents in Revit.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience with Seattle and WA building codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design for diverse project types and delivery models.
• Design HVAC systems including load calculations and equipment sizing.
• Communicate mechanical system pros/cons to clients and stakeholders.
• Develop project specifications and perform site evaluations.
• Attend client and project team meetings; develop Construction Documents.
• Review submittals and respond to RFIs; collaborate with contractors.
