Job summary

Eaton Research Lab is seeking a Mechanical Engineer Specialist to develop electromechanical actuation and packaging for power electronics used in industrial, automotive, truck, and aerospace applications. The candidate will lead projects with global teams and engage with customers to communicate complex concepts.

The role is hybrid/onsite with strong emphasis on design validation, prototyping, and collaboration across Eaton business divisions and universities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 7 years of electromechanical design experience including actuation and enclosure packaging.
• Company does not sponsor visa now or in future.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop emerging power electronics augmented electromechanical actuation solutions for multiple sectors.
• Guide cross‑functional teams and external resources to advance technology projects.
• Advance ME design and packaging of power electronics and identify commercialization opportunities.
