Qualifications

• Requires a two-year technical degree in drafting or design.
• Typically 12 years of mechanical drafting or design experience.

• Ability to design and document sheet metal components and assemblies.
• Knowledge of drafting standards and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
• Experience with ECOs, BOMs, and PLM/ERP systems.
• Experience with project management of small to mid-size projects.

Responsibilities

• Create accurate 3D models, drawings, BOMs for manufacture.
• Manage build of prototypes and guide cross-functional teams.
• Develop ECOs and update BOMs/drawings as required.
• Perform tolerance stack-up analyses on complex assemblies.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing for design releases.
• Use CAD/PLM/ERP tools to manage data and revisions.
