Job summary

LHB is seeking an Engineering Technician (Electrical) to join the Energy & Industry Team in our Duluth or Minneapolis, MN office. You will work with design engineers to process drawing redlines, create accurate electrical designs, and collaborate across disciplines.

Ideal candidates hold an associate degree in drafting or related field and have AutoCAD and Microsoft 365 proficiency; willingness to work in a hybrid setting with potential overtime is noted.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or related field.
• Demonstrated knowledge in AutoCAD and Microsoft365 (Excel, Outlook).
• Pre-employment onboarding requirements including criminal/civil background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Process drawing redlines/comments within AutoCAD to create detailed electrical designs.
• Manage drawings and interface with client document management software.
• Keep up to date with drafting software and relevant drafting tools.
• Work effectively in a hybrid work environment.
• Collaborate in multidisciplinary technician teams.
