Actalent seeks a Mechanical Designer to collaborate with engineering and production teams, modeling electromechanical systems, and delivering high-quality drawings and 3D models. You will support assembly, documentation, and BOM creation while ensuring adherence to GD&T standards within a collaborative, hands-on environment.

The role is onsite with a focus on precision, documentation, and cross-functional teamwork, offering long-term project-based work in a manufacturing setting.

Formación

• 3+ years of experience using SolidWorks to create 3D models, assemblies, and production drawings.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T and ability to create detailed manufacturing drawings per ASME Y14.5.
• Experience with Product Data Management (PDM) systems and document/configuration control processes.
• Experience managing drawing revisions through Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) or similar change management.
• Associates degree or technical certification in Mechanical Drafting, CAD Technology, or related discipline.
• Proven history of completing tasks efficiently with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate with design engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams.

Responsabilidades

• Create and maintain CAD parts, assemblies, and drawings in SolidWorks following procedures.
• Maintain and update detailed documentation of assembly processes and issues for commissioning and scale-up.
• Prepare accurate BOMs for mechanical assemblies and subsystems.
• Produce drawings with GD&T per ASME Y14.5 and internal guidelines.
• Assist with CAD library management to keep assets organized.
• Record and track data to support traceability and continuous improvement.
