MCE Mechanical, a full‑service engineering firm, is seeking an entry‑level Designer/Engineer in Training to learn the foundations of designing mechanical systems. You will work under the direction of the Project Manager to take tasks and develop independently over time, contributing to floor plans, layouts, and equipment schedules.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of mechanical systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• 0–2 years of experience in related field.

Responsibilities

• Develops skills to perform basic design calculations.
• Follows MCE’s design standards and production standards.
• Performs basic distribution layout and equipment sizing for commodity items.
• Completes floor plan layouts for system distribution.
• Drafts equipment schedules for commodity items and basic schematic diagrams.
