Job summary

RFCUNY seeks a Math School Support Specialist to serve as thought partner, instructional coach, and program strategist for the CUNY Early College Network, focusing on Algebra I/II.

You will spend 3–4 days weekly in schools, coaching teachers and leaders, supporting curriculum translation, data analysis, and interim assessments.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s in Education and five years of math leadership/coaching experience; strong communication and collaboration skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education required.
• Minimum five years of successful professional experience in math leadership, coaching, or professional development.
• Proven ability to use student- and school-level data to plan and monitor instructional programs.

Responsibilities

• Develops relationships with principals, assistant principals, and teacher leaders to support school goals.
• Coaches and mentors leaders using dialogical and facilitative approaches.
• Coordinates access to school support and resources to address challenges.
