Job summary

RTX Corporation's Global Engineering & Technology Center in Aguadilla, PR is seeking a Materials Engineer to support manufacturing planning, MOC analysis, and regulatory compliance (REACH/TSCA) within the Landing Systems Materials team. The role collaborates with suppliers, customers, and global engineering teams and requires US citizenship; hybrid work schedule with 3 days onsite and 2 remote.

Foundational metallurgical knowledge, CAD tools familiarity, and experience with Teamcenter/ViCi are

Qualifications

Typically requires STEM degree with 2 years of experience or an advanced degree in a related field.
Experience with REACh/TSCA regulatory compliance.
Experience with Teamcenter, ViCi and CAD materials annotations.
Strong English communication (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

Support manufacturing planning reviews, work transfers, and process troubleshooting.
Perform specification and part decomposition activities.
Ensure compliance with global materials regulations (REACH/TSCA).
Conduct Materials of Concern (MOC) analysis.
Assist with MPS review activities and supplier qualification reviews.
Support Materials Control Board (MCB) reviews and documentation.
Prepare, review, and approve engineering procedures and technical docs.
Collaborate with global teams, suppliers, and customers; travel up to 10%.
