Job summary

Sloane Strategy seeks a Marketing and Communications Intern in the Washington, DC area for the spring semester with potential extension. The role is part-time and hybrid, supporting daily marketing tasks, market research, strategy development, and content creation.

You will help with communication initiatives and on-site shoots while collaborating closely with leadership. The internship offers hands-on client exposure, academic credit through your college, and flexible hours (10–20 hours weekly)

Qualifications

• Must be actively pursuing a college degree in the United States.
• Must be located in and able to commute to Washington, DC on a bi-weekly basis for content shoot support.
• Strong communication and creative skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Experience conducting market research across various brand topics.
• Interested in learning various aspects of marketing: social media, graphics, video, influencer relations, branding, etc.
• Intermediate knowledge of CapCut, Canva, and Adobe Creative Cloud (preferred but not required).
• A love for creating graphics, brainstorming content, caption writing, filming, and all things social.
• Proficiency in social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, and Pinterest).
• Pursuing a degree in Marketing, PR, Communications, Business, Journalism, or a related field.
• Availability for hybrid work, including half-day content shoots in the greater DC area during week days and weekends (upon prior request).
• Flexible schedule for the Fall 2026 academic year.
