Job summary

System One in Mahwah, NJ is seeking an Associate Manufacturing Project Engineer for a contract role with hybrid onsite/remote work (4 days onsite). The engineer will drive capital equipment and manufacturing improvement projects from concept to production release, coordinating with PMs, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Facilities, and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering as listed.
• 0–2 years of engineering experience (internships/co-op experience counted).
• PMP, Lean Six Sigma or other PM certifications are a plus but not required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project activities, track items, and communicate with cross-functional teams.
• Assist with equipment installations, FAT/SAT, validation, and documentation.
• Spend time on site and in the office, progressively owning project tasks.
