The University of Michigan's College of Literature, Science, and the Arts (LSA) invites applications for a Manager of Instructional Computing & Hardware Lifecycle.

This leadership role guides a team responsible for instructional spaces, classroom technology, and the lifecycle of thousands of computing devices across LSA, partnering with faculty and institutional partners to advance teaching with technology.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in technical support, desktop support, or hardware lifecycle management in a large organization.
• 3+ years in project management with stakeholder engagement and reporting.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience leading technical teams.
• Experience with hardware lifecycle processes, inventory systems, and end-user ticketing tools.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee operational support and strategic direction of instructional computing environments (labs, classrooms, loaner pools).
• Lead hardware lifecycle activities including inventory, procurement, deployment, upgrades, patching, and retirement.
• Provide supervision, coaching, and career development for desktop support and technical staff.
• Monitor SLAs, manage project portfolios with clear deliverables, and report to stakeholders.
