Job summary

The Department of Healthcare and Family Services (HFS) Bureau of Managed Care is seeking a detail-oriented Managed Care Analyst to provide operational and analytical support for Illinois HealthChoice and dual-eligible programs. This role coordinates meetings, tracks follow-up items, and maintains documentation related to MCO activities.

The ideal candidate has strong data skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and a background in healthcare or public administration.

Qualifications

• Requires a four-year college degree with master’s preferred.
• Three years of progressively responsible professional experience in management operations analysis.
• Experience in healthcare, human services, or managed care environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under direction, supports day-to-day operational and performance monitoring of MCO activities.
• Provides administrative and operational support for meetings with MCOs in HealthChoice Illinois program and dual-eligible programs.
• Prepares routine and ad hoc operational reports and documents.
• Supports implementation of operational procedures and managed care initiatives.
• Performs duties within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
