Job summary

Regional Medical Imaging, P.C. seeks a Mammography Technical Assistant to support the Mammography team with patient prep, workflow coordination, image management, and clerical duties in a clinical outpatient setting.

You will help maintain equipment readiness, ensure patient comfort and privacy, assist with mobility challenges, and collaborate with radiologists and technologists to deliver exceptional patient care while adhering to safety and HIPAA guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in healthcare, business, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and escort patients through the mammography process.
• Assist patients with check-in, questionnaires, and required documentation.
• Provide patient education regarding exam preparation and expectations.
• Maintain patient comfort, dignity, and privacy throughout the visit.
• Assist patients with mobility challenges as needed.
• Support mammography technologists in maintaining patient flow.
