Job summary

Apex Systems is seeking a Planner/Scheduler for an energy client in Midland, TX. The role focuses on planning and scheduling maintenance and construction work, coordinating with project managers, engineers, and field personnel to develop work plans, track progress, and mitigate risks.

The ideal candidate will have strong Excel skills, effective communication, and the ability to engage multiple stakeholders across the organization. Hybrid work schedule with some work-from-home days applies.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning, scheduling, maintenance, or construction environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Oil and gas experience preferred but not required; training available.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule maintenance and construction activities.
• Review and validate work notifications for accuracy.
• Create and manage work orders (WOs) and purchase orders (POs).
• Ensure data integrity and correct discrepancies in the system.
• Support SAP within the maintenance domain and participate in meetings.
• Track progress and provide status updates to stakeholders.
• Assist with reporting and coordination of activities.
