Job summary

Evonik is seeking a Maintenance Planner to manage supply chain resources and demand processes, ensuring targets for customer service, cost, and stock levels are met. The role emphasizes planning, scheduling, and coordination with cross-functional teams to optimize operations.

The position requires experience in plant maintenance, SAP proficiency, and the ability to develop executable work packages, validate materials, and support scheduling activities as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or related field preferred.
• 5–10 years in plant maintenance or construction focusing on planning, scheduling, and management.
• Proficiency in SAP, maintenance scheduling tools, and reading construction drawings.
• CMRP certification preferred for expertise in maintenance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Develop minimum-executable work packages with scope, hours, materials, safety, and isolation requirements.
• Plan only approved work expected to be scheduled within 2–3 weeks; ensure alignment with priorities.
• Identify required materials for each planned work order and verify stock or procurement lead times.
• Temporary scheduling support may occur; scheduling ownership remains with Scheduler.
• Backlog cleanup and normalization; improve planning/library; conduct audits and set standards.
• Correct historical data to improve planning accuracy.
