Job summary

Ohio Transmission Corporation in Columbus, Ohio, is seeking a Senior Associate, M&A to join the Corporate Development team. You will own all aspects of financial modeling and valuation for potential acquisitions, reporting directly to the VP of Corporate Development.

You will lead due diligence projects, coordinate across Finance, HR, Tax, Legal, and Operations, and help identify new targets. The role offers high visibility and a path toward leading smaller M&A deals.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of analytical experience in investment banking, PE, corporate development, or related advisory.
• Hands-on mastery of three-statement models and various valuation analyses.
• Proven project management skills coordinating cross-functional teams.
• Strong quantitative skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and ready to take on deal leadership.
• Clear communication of findings to VP and board-level leaders.

Responsibilities

• Own financial modeling, valuation, and scenario analyses for potential acquisitions.
• Coordinate due diligence with internal teams and external advisors.
• Manage data rooms, diligence checklists, and milestones.
• Identify and evaluate new targets to expand the pipeline.
