Sony Electronics Inc. is seeking a Logistics Finance & Operations Manager to partner with Logistics, Supply Chain, and Finance on planning, cost management, and reporting.

The role covers transportation, warehousing, customs, and trade operations, with cross-functional collaboration and process improvements across the function. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement, with a base pay range and eligibility for an annual bonus plan based on company performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Supply Chain.
• 7+ years in finance, accounting, logistics, or related fields.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and year-end close activities with accruals and journal entries.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and reviews for logistics.
• Analyze performance against targets and identify cost drivers and risks.
• Develop financial models and business cases for strategic initiatives.
• Prepare executive-level reports and management summaries.
• Manage transportation, warehousing, customs, and related expenditures.
• Monitor freight and vendor costs; drive cost-saving opportunities.
• Develop dashboards and KPIs using SAP, Power BI, and Excel.
• Manage carrier and 3PL relationships, invoice validation and disputes.
• Drive process improvements and automation for reporting accuracy.
• Serve as finance partner to Logistics and Supply Chain leadership.
