Job summary

American Business Bank is seeking a detail-oriented loan processor in Los Angeles to handle a range of loan types, including commercial, real estate, interim construction, SBA and consumer loans. You will book and fund loans, audit transactions, and support lending officers with interest calculations and disclosures.

The role requires thorough review of loan packages, accurate data entry, and adherence to bank procedures.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of loan processing workflows and required disclosures.
• Ability to review loan packages for accuracy and completeness.
• Familiarity with AML monitoring and OFAC/FinCEN screening.

Responsibilities

• Process and book commercial, real estate, interim construction, SBA and consumer loans.
• Review loans and payments for accuracy in the core banking system.
• Perform AML/OFAC checks and report positive hits.
• Prepare forms and verify documentation for loan processing and payoffs.
• Respond to inquiries and support lending staff to meet deadlines.
