Job summary

KeyCorp in Brooklyn, OH seeks an intermediate Loan Funding Specialist to support a high-performing team. You will handle consumer loan processing, funding documentation, and posting with accuracy while meeting service levels.

The role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and experience with banking products. Hybrid in-office work is available, with regular hours Mon–Fri, 8:00am–5:30pm ET.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required with strong customer service background.
• Minimum 2 years customer service experience with knowledge of bank loan and deposit products.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows products.

Responsibilities

• Effectively manage funding process in accordance with procedures.
• Enter account information, document financial transactions, and prepare disbursements for loan funding.
• Process loan fundings and fund payoffs with proper controls.
• Balance GL entries and coordinate with Accounting to correct discrepancies.
• Review reports to prevent client impact and ensure system integrity.
• Answer client questions and initiate calls as needed.
• Lead or participate in special projects and process improvements.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to corporate mandates.
