Qualifications

• 3–6 years of legal assistant experience in a litigation setting.
• Strong familiarity with California and federal court filing procedures.
• Experience with PACER, CM/ECF and e-filing systems.
• Excellent proofreading and meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Draft, format, proofread, cite-check and prepare legal documents.
• Prepare pleadings, exhibits and supporting documentation.
• Handle state, federal, tribal and administrative filings.
• Manage PACER/CM/ECF and other e-filing platforms.
• Maintain litigation calendars, deadlines and matter files.
• Schedule hearings, depositions and client meetings.
• Assist with discovery requests and litigation research.
• Support attorney administration including time entry and prebills.
