Job summary

Latham & Watkins is seeking a Litigation Services Attorney to provide high-level legal analysis on procedural and strategic issues in state and federal court from our Washington, DC office. You will review filings, prepare procedural roadmaps, and advise the Litigation & Trial Department on court rules, civil procedure, and deadlines using research platforms.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of applicable court rules and procedures across jurisdictions.
• Ability to articulate complex court rules and calendaring issues clearly and concisely.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret and convey legal principles.

Responsibilities

• Conduct judicial research to develop profiles and analytics on judges.
• Oversee calendaring: maintain litigation deadlines and communicate them to teams.
• Oversee court services: retrieve court documents and file documents in electronic form.
• Prepare roadmaps to guide attorneys through complex filings and highlight strategic opportunities.
• Protect highly sensitive, confidential, and proprietary information.
