Wilson Elser, a national law firm, seeks a Litigation Paralegal for its Los Angeles office in a flexible hybrid role combining in-office collaboration with remote work.

The position supports attorneys through all stages of litigation, conducts research, manages document productions, drafts deposition summaries, and coordinates with experts. Requires a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of paralegal experience; insurance defense experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Paralegal Certificate preferred.
• 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience.
• Insurance defense experience is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience drafting subpoenas and managing records requests.
• Experience with insurance defense or insurance coverage matters is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys through all stages of litigation, from initial investigation through trial preparation.
• Conduct research using court databases and online resources to obtain case-related information.
• Review, analyze, and organize document productions from opposing counsel and third parties.
• Prepare summaries of deposition transcripts and key case materials.
• Assist with preparation of materials for expert witnesses, including organizing supporting documentation.
• Maintain well-organized case files and manage large volumes of documents.
• Track deadlines and support attorneys with case management activities.
• Collaborate with attorneys and team members to ensure efficient workflow and strong client service.
• Draft subpoenas and coordinate retrieval of medical, employment, and other relevant records.
