Job summary

Littler, the global employment and labor law firm, is seeking a paralegal for a hybrid role based in Portland, OR or Seattle, WA. The position supports attorneys through all stages of litigation, with in-office work three days per week and independence in problem-solving.

Responsibilities include discovery management, deposition coordination, and trial preparation, with opportunities for bonuses and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience.
• Minimum of 5–10 years paralegal experience.
• Paralegal Certificate preferred.
• Familiarity with Oregon State and Federal courts; litigation processes.

Responsibilities

• Initial review of a case to assist attorneys’ evaluation.
• Draft chronologies, pleadings and privilege logs; manage document intake.
• Coordinate written and documentary discovery; review responses.
• Coordinate deposition process and subpoenas; arrange court reporters.
• Create and manage litigation support databases and document images.
• Assist with factual investigations; interview clients and witnesses.
• Coordinate trial preparation; assemble trial binders and exhibits.
• Cite-checking and Shepardizing case law; basic legal research.
