Job summary

Public Storage in Frisco, TX is seeking a Litigation & Operations Legal Specialist to support the legal department across litigation, regulatory, and operations matters.

You will manage litigation intake and docketing, handle subpoenas and regulatory inquiries, and assist outside counsel and internal staff to move cases forward. This is an in-office role with opportunities to train under seasoned specialists.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and ABA-approved paralegal certificate or equivalent legal training required, with at least 5 years of relevant experience
• Thorough working knowledge of, and advanced aptitude in using, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Microsoft Word, and corporate legal databases such as CounselLink, CSC, ServiceNow (or similar ticketing/matter management systems), Westlaw, PACER, Docuware, and Yardi with the ability to learn new applications and programs
• Excellent communication skills
• Must be detail-oriented and highly organized
• Must be a self-starter and possess strong multi-tasking skills
• Must be able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Enthusiasm for being part of a growing, collaborative legal team
