SIVAD Consulting in San Francisco, CA is seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant to support a Partner in a Native American law practice with a hybrid work model. The role also supports the Environment & Energy practice in the SF office.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of law firm experience, strong California and federal court filing knowledge (PACER/CM/ECF), meticulous proofreading, and willingness to handle litigation support, attorney administration, and general office duties.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of law firm legal assistant experience with litigation support.
• Strong working knowledge of California and federal court filing procedures (PACER, CM/ECF).
• Excellent proofreading and attention to detail.
• Open to administrative and office support work, including time entry and prebills.
• Stable work history and ability to commute to downtown SF at least 2 days a week.

Responsabilités

• Drafting and proofreading pleadings, preparing exhibits, and managing court filings.
• Calendaring, docketing, and managing files; scheduling hearings and conferences.
• Handling attorney administration: time entry, prebills, and travel arrangements.
• Office support tasks: reception, visitors, security coordination, supplies, mail.
• Legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, or AI platforms.
• Drafting, cite-checking, and formatting legal documents.
• Assembling exhibits and documentation for matters.
• Assisting in discovery requests and eDiscovery platforms.
• Managing filings across state, federal, tribal courts, and tribunals.
