You will handle business, real estate, employment, and personal injury matters with senior attorney guidance, drafting motions and pleadings, and managing discovery and depositions.

You will collaborate with experienced attorneys on strategy, engage in negotiations, and prepare for trial while enjoying work-from-home flexibility and a clear path to growth.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active California Bar license.
• 1+ years of law firm litigation experience.
• Experience drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Exposure to depositions and litigation case management.
• Ability to work across employment, real estate, business, and personal injury law.
• Excellent communication, organization, judgment, and client-service skills.
• Ability to manage competing deadlines independently while collaborating with a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage business, real estate, employment, and personal injury litigation matters with guidance from experienced attorneys.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, legal memoranda, and case strategy documents.
• Conduct legal research involving statutes, regulations, case law, and relevant secondary authorities.
• Prepare for and participate in depositions, hearings, conferences, arbitrations, mediations, and trial-related proceedings.
• Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and other parties throughout the litigation process.
• Assist with settlement negotiations, mediation strategy, case evaluation, and trial preparation.
• Manage case deadlines, files, discovery, and litigation calendars while handling multiple active matters.
• Collaborate with partners and colleagues to develop practical, results-focused litigation strategies.
