Job summary

BCG Attorney Search seeks an experienced Associate Attorney for its Litigation Practice Area in Southborough, MA. The role supports attorneys through inception, discovery, and trial in a full-time hybrid setup with at least three in-office days.

The candidate should have 5–10 years in commercial litigation, MA bar admission (additional states a plus), and strong organizational, writing, and communication skills for a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Five to ten years of experience in commercial litigation.
• Licensed to practice law in Massachusetts; multiple state Bar admissions are a plus.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and strong proofreading skills.
• Time management and multitasking abilities.
• Strong research, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and correspondence with accuracy.
• Assist in all phases of litigation, including motions, depositions, mediations, and trials.
• Prepare, review, and analyze discovery productions to identify key documents.
• Handle court appearances, depositions, and mediations.
• Communicate with clients, providing legal advice and status updates.
• Research case law, statutes, and regulations impacting clients.
• Provide status updates to assigning attorneys.
• Assist in trial preparation and manage a litigation caseload.
• Help train and develop junior associates, paralegals, and staff.
