Clyde & Co is seeking an associate with 2 to 6 years of strong litigation experience to join our California team. This role collaborates closely with our Aviation practice group and requires proactive, motivated, and organized professionals with excellent research and writing skills.

The position emphasizes taking and defending depositions, drafting and responding to discovery, preparing motions, and pre-trial documents, with hybrid work flexibility and robust benefits.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to the California Bar.
• Extensive experience in all aspects of litigation.
• Strong legal writing and communication skills.
• Excellent oral advocate.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.
• Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly.

Responsabilités

• Actively investigate claims and prepare case handling strategies
• Draft and respond to discovery
• Review and analyze documents for production
• Conduct legal research using Westlaw
• Take and defend depositions
• Draft and submit pleadings and motions
• Attend hearings and argue motions
• Draft pre-trial and trial documents
• Prepare cases for mediation/trial, and participate in mediation/trial
• Actively and effectively report to our clients
