Job summary

Silverspace Inc. is seeking an Associate Attorney in California to join its litigation team in a hybrid role.

The position focuses on General Liability, Construction Defect, Personal Injury, Insurance defense, Toxic Tort, Asbestos, and Silica matters, offering substantial courtroom exposure and client advocacy. The ideal candidate will have strong litigation skills, excellent advocacy abilities, and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment while balancing in-office and remote components

Qualifications

• Active California bar membership is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Excellent advocacy and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload across general liability, construction defect, personal injury, and related defense matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and settlement documents.
• Take and defend depositions of parties and witnesses.
• Prepare clients for depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations and trial.
• Develop litigation strategies and maintain communication with clients, insurers and stakeholders.
• Represent clients in state and federal court appearances and trials.
