Qualifications

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active Connecticut State Bar in good standing or eligible for admission.
• Minimum of two years of litigation and trial experience in CT state and/or federal courts.
• Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills; proficiency with Westlaw.
• Judicial clerkship experience and/or NY Bar a plus.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, memoranda, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on complex issues.
• Manage discovery, including strategy development, document review, and discovery responses.
• Assist with depositions, witness preparation, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
• Maintain direct client communication and day-to-day case management support.
• Collaborate with colleagues across practices to deliver client service.
• Contribute to business development and client relationship initiatives.
