Qualifications

• 3–7 years of experience in software deployment, build and release
• Strong Linux knowledge and shell scripting
• Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
• Experience with release packaging, deployment processes and runbooks
• Familiarity with release automation tools (Rundeck, Ansible)
• Experience integrating deployment with monitoring (Grafana, Splunk)
• Knowledge of databases and SQL basics
• Experience with job automation tools (Tidal, Autosys, Control-M)
• Ability to manage incidents methodically and communicate risks clearly

Responsibilities

• Perform software build, release and deployment tasks across environments
• Create and maintain release packaging, runbooks and deployment procedures
• Coordinate with software engineers to resolve build and deployment issues
• Integrate deployments with Rundeck or Azure DevOps for application delivery
• Develop and maintain application control scripts (start/stop)
• Configure monitoring integrations (OpsRamp, Grafana, Splunk)
• Provision and set up new servers as required
• Support authentication and authorization workflows for deployments
• Work with SQL databases to verify data and performance during releases
