Job summary

Simply Business is seeking a Licensed Service Agent to join its Customer Solutions Center in Boston. You will be the main contact for service inquiries and help customers with policies while ensuring a great experience.

The role requires a Property & Casualty Producer license, strong communication, and the ability to coordinate across multiple systems. The team offers a hybrid work model and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding service level targets.
• Ability to clearly explain insurance products and handle different questions and objections.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills with adaptability to engage various customers.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to use multiple computer systems simultaneously.
• Property & Casualty Producer license.
• At least one year of experience in commercial insurance customer service or a similar complex insurance environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer service inquiries via inbound/outbound calls, email, and Zendesk.
• Resolve and assist customer issues while delivering a positive experience.
• Process policy cancellations and rewrites as appropriate.
• Quote and process policy renewals.
• Send Certificates of Insurance and policy documents on request.
• Use relevant systems to update information on customer accounts.
• Ensure premiums payment and documentation issuance run smoothly.
• Effectively manage callbacks and follow ups.
• Identify opportunities to improve customer service processes and enhance the customer experience.
