Behavioral Health Group - BHG in Nashville, TN, is seeking a Licensed Counselor (LPC, LCSW, or LMFT) for a hybrid role. You will conduct alcohol and drug counseling, develop and adjust treatment plans, document patient progress, and coordinate with the treatment team.

Starting pay is $35 per hour plus bonus; compensation depends on licensure and experience. The position emphasizes compliance with regulatory standards and compassionate patient care in a busy clinical setting.

Qualifications

• The Counselor must comply with federal and state regulations regarding certification, licensure, and degree.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field; Master’s degree may be required with expanded job duties; LPC/LMFT/LCSW credentials.
• If not adequately licensed, the counselor must be enrolled in, or willing to begin, a formal course of study toward licensure at the date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Conduct alcohol and drug abuse counseling sessions on a regular basis per state regulation, or as part of the individual treatment plan.
• Provide services according to the required hours, which may vary depending on services.
• Maintain patient records that are complete, comprehensive and well organized.
• Document all patient contacts and ensure coordination with team members.
• Attend weekly treatment team meetings and participate in program development as needed.
• Provide intake/readmission services and follow-up counseling for new patients until assignment.
• Provide crisis intervention/support services and coordinate care with other community providers.
