Job summary

Bluegrass Community & Technical College is seeking an adjunct faculty member in the Library Information Technology area. This part-time role will provide online and/or classroom instruction to students, teaching online and/or in-person library information technology courses.

The position requires an associates degree (minimum) in a library-related field with five years of related experience; a Master’s degree in Library Information Technology or related field is preferred.

Qualifications

Associates degree in a library related field and five years related experience.
Preferred Master’s degree in Library Information Technology or related field.

Responsibilities

Teach online and/or in-person library information technology courses.
Create syllabi and set up assigned courses on the College’s learning management system following college standards.
Grade learner’s submissions in a timely manner and provide feedback to learners.
Submit course-related reports as requested by the college.
Maintain course standards set by the library information technology area.
Maintain communication with the Coordinator of Library Information Technology.
Complete professional development trainings required of adjunct faculty.
Other duties as assigned.
