Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in legal word processing or document production environment preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office programs required.
• Transcription experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of legal terminology and legal citations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create, edit and format legal documents to firm specifications.
• Convert and clean documents to/from different file formats.
• Create charts and spreadsheets as requested.
• Perform data entry using various software applications.
• Handle sensitive and confidential documents.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Flexibility to work overtime

Ability to prioritize requests and deadlines

Minimum typing speed of 60 wpm with 95% accuracy

Education
