Qualifications

• 3+ years of legal billing experience; law firm experience required.
• Strong understanding of legal billing procedures.
• Experience with attorney time and expense billing.
• Knowledge of client billing guidelines and fee arrangements.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Elite 3E or other legal billing software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process monthly legal invoices
• Review attorney time, expenses, and billing information for accuracy
• Apply client-specific billing guidelines and fee arrangements
• Review pre-bills and make necessary corrections
• Process final bills, write-offs, adjustments, and credits
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies
• Respond to attorney and client billing inquiries
• Monitor billing deadlines and outstanding invoices
