Job summary

AAA The Auto Club Group is seeking a detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support attorneys in personal injury litigation and regulatory matters. You will review, summarize and organize complex information, draft pleadings and correspondence, and coordinate with internal stakeholders.

The role offers a hybrid work arrangement with occasional onsite visits, typically monthly, and opportunities to contribute to meaningful business outcomes within a large corporate legal team.

Qualifications

• Associates degree as a Legal Assistant or ABA-approved training; extensive experience can substitute.
• Experience researching, analyzing and preparing written documents and correspondence.
• Knowledge of civil litigation procedures and federal/state judicial systems.
• Familiarity with insurance, medical terminology and regulatory processes.

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze and summarize issues in incoming litigation or administrative actions.
• Type and generate pleadings, legal documents, and related correspondence for staff counsel.
• Schedule attorney meetings and maintain appointment calendars.
• Assemble data for litigation monitoring systems and prepare related reports.
• Provide office administration support and interact with customers and visitors.
