LHH Recruitment Solutions in Chicago, IL is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant with a background in personal injury defense litigation for a hybrid role. You will support attorneys through all phases of litigation and manage calendars, hearings, and case deadlines.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of Legal Assistant or litigation secretary experience, knowledge of court rules and discovery, strong communication and writing skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal databases.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant or Litigation Legal Secretary.
• Experience in personal injury defense or general litigation.
• Knowledge of litigation procedures, court rules & discovery.
• Excellent communication, writing, and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal databases.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant or Litigation Legal Secretary
• Background in personal injury defense (or general litigation)
• Strong understanding of litigation procedures, court rules & discovery
• Excellent communication, writing, and multitasking abilities
• Strong tech proficiency (Microsoft Office + legal database experience)
• Certificate in Legal Assisting/Paralegal preferred (not required)
