Focus PM LLC is seeking a Leasing Agent to own the end-to-end leasing process, from inquiry to signed lease, in a hybrid/remote-flex environment. The role emphasizes relationship building, urgency, follow-up, and rapid conversion of leads into leases.

The position offers flexible scheduling, one in-office day per week for training, and a compensation structure tied to performance. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage all prospect and applicant communication from initial inquiry through signed lease.
• Respond quickly and professionally via phone, text, and email.
• Maintain follow-up and sales momentum.
• Present and sell available units and community value.
• Schedule in-person tours with field team members when needed.
• Conduct virtual tours and provide digital leasing materials.
• Follow up after tours to convert prospects to signed leases.
• Review applications and supporting documentation.
• Approve or deny applicants using screening criteria and Fair Housing guidelines.
• Communicate decisions and next steps clearly.
• Maintain accurate approval and denial records.
• Prepare and send lease documents with high accuracy.
• Verify pricing, concessions, fees, and add-ons.
• Drive timely lease signatures and completion.
• Identify and correct errors proactively.
• Present and sell additional income opportunities when appropriate.
• Ensure add-ons are properly disclosed and documented.
• Maximize revenue per lease while maintaining compliance.
• Deliver a professional and consistent leasing experience.
• Represent the company brand positively in all interactions.
• Escalate complex issues when necessary while maintaining ownership.
• Required in-office one day per week for training and collaboration.
• Flexible work location outside required in-office day
• Office space available weekdays between 7:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
• Must be available for leasing calls Monday–Friday, 10:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
• Calls handled through a company-approved calling application on a personal cellphone."
