Placements24 is seeking an Industrial Engineering Analyst in Welkom to boost production efficiency by identifying bottlenecks, analyzing performance data, and recommending practical improvements. You will collaborate with production teams to implement changes and monitor impact, contributing to cost reduction and throughput gains.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, 1–3 years' experience, and proficiency with Excel/Minitab.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in industrial engineering or process analysis.
• Proficiency in Excel, Minitab, or similar statistical software.
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing concepts and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to interpret technical data and present findings clearly.
• Willingness to work on-site in Welkom and embrace a hybrid working model.
• Must be a South African citizen or have valid work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Analyze production data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
• Develop and maintain process flow diagrams and SOPs.
• Assist in designing and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Conduct time and motion studies to optimize workflow and resource allocation.
• Support the implementation of Lean manufacturing principles and tools.
• Collaborate with production supervisors and operators to gather insights and implement solutions.
• Prepare reports on operational performance and present findings to management.
• Participate in cross-functional teams to address production challenges.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards in all process analyses.
