Job summary

SAS is seeking a Senior Manager, Corporate Analytics & Decision Support (CADS) to lead the CADS function within the CO&P organization. Hybrid role based in Cary, North Carolina, partnering with executives to translate complex business challenges into analytics solutions that enable critical enterprise decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, OR Economics, OR Engineering, OR related field.
• 12+ years in analytics, data science, or related disciplines with progressive responsibilities.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing technical or analytics professionals.
• Experience maturing analytics capabilities including governance and service delivery.
• Proven ability partnering with senior executives to support planning and priorities.
• Experience managing cross-functional demand and tradeoffs across stakeholders.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee CADS function with strategic direction and capability development.
• Partner with executive leaders to translate business challenges into analytic solutions.
• Serve as trusted advisor to senior stakeholders evaluating opportunities and risks.
• Support planning and enterprise initiatives through timely analytics and recommendations.
• Develop scalable decision-support products and AI-enabled insights.
• Establish governance standards for metrics, reporting, and documentation.
• Lead CADS operating model including demand intake and prioritization.
• Advance analytics capabilities with data science, automation, and reusable assets.
• Manage portfolio of analytics initiatives with clear tradeoff visibility.
• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing analytics team.
