Job summary

The University of Vermont is seeking a Team Lead, Unit Post-Award Administration to lead the RAO’s ongoing development and synchronize post-award financial management across units. You will partner with senior leadership to establish a consistent process framework and support researchers in grant administration and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and six years of government, non-profit or higher education experience required.
• Experience participating in financial audits, financial management and PeopleSoft highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate the development of the Research Administration Office (RAO) to create a coordinated post-award framework.
• Collaborate with the Senior Associate Dean for Research, department leadership, and SPA to improve processes, policies and procedures.
• Provide administrative supervision for unit Post-Award Administrators and oversee grant portfolio and budget analytics.
• Lead continuous improvement activities and develop tools and documentation for unit post-award administration.
• Provide onboarding and training for central and unit post-award administrators and serve as liaison to internal/external stakeholders.
