Job summary

Mercury Systems in Cypress, CA (and other U.S. locations) is seeking a CAD Lead to design high‑speed PCBs, backplanes, and flex circuits for rugged, secure packaging.

You will interact with Systems Engineering, SI, ME, SW and purchasing, owning all steps of the PCB design process using Cadence/Allegro and related tools. This hybrid 3 days in the office role requires 7+ years of CAD experience, IPC standards, RF/high-speed routing, and the ability to drive CAD process improvements.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of PCB design experience.
• Experience with IPC standards.
• Experience with high-speed RF routing.
• Automation for Allegro and CAD workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design high frequency PCBs and backplanes for rugged applications.
• Model high-speed interfaces up to 25Gb/s.
• Collaborate with Systems Eng, SI, ME, SW and purchasing.
• Documentation of CAD layout rules and processes.
• Support PWB fabrication vendors with design integrity.
