Hollister Incorporated in Libertyville, IL, is seeking a Lead Packaging Engineer to drive medical device packaging development for Ostomy and Continence Care. You will lead cross-functional projects, develop sterile and non-sterile packaging systems, and ensure regulatory compliance to support product commercialization.

You will mentor peers, manage project schedules, and collaborate with marketing, regulatory, and quality teams in a hybrid work environment requiring four days in the office.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree with 8-12 years of related experience
• Masters Degree with a minimum of 6 years of related experience
• Experience in medical device packaging development and commercialization

Responsabilidades

• Lead and coach cross-functional projects for new product development and commercialization, and changes to new and existing products.
• Apply advanced knowledge on concepts, principles, and technical capabilities for large scope projects.
• Establish and manage packaging project schedules.
• Develop and validate sterile and non-sterile packaging and labeling systems and equipment.
• Establish and qualify new packaging materials, equipment and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with packaging regulations and monitor changes.
• Identify and lead cost saving initiatives.
• Write and coordinate technical documentation including protocols, reports, procedures, specifications, work instructions and data.
• Coach peers on technical requirements.
• Develop and validate test methods with statistical analysis.
• Source and validate laboratory equipment for new product commercialization.
• Represent Hollister at industry events and mentor peers.
