Next Gen Pros Inc. is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to design, build, and support secure AI-enabled applications and backend services for enterprise workflows. You will work across product, data, security, and business teams to move solutions from design to production.

Responsibilities include building AI features with LLMs, implementing retrieval and vector search, and ensuring robust CI/CD, observability, and security practices across platforms such as Azure and other cloud services.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years of professional software engineering with backend APIs or distributed systems.
• At least 2 years building or integrating generative AI / LLM-based solutions.
• Experience designing and integrating APIs and delivering software to production.
• Experience with automated testing, CI/CD, cloud deployment, logging, monitoring.
• Understanding of secure software development, data privacy, and responsible AI use.

Mansioni

• Design, build, and maintain backend services, APIs, and features for firmwide products and AI-enabled workflows.
• Develop AI capabilities such as enterprise search, summarization, extraction, document generation, and conversational experiences using LLMs.
• Design and integrate secure connections among apps, AI services, data, and business systems via APIs and access controls.
• Build retrieval solutions with content ingestion, embeddings, indexing, and vector/semantic/hybrid search.
• Apply software engineering practices: modular design, code review, automated testing, CI/CD, observability, error handling, performance tuning.
• Evaluate AI features for quality, reliability, security, latency, and cost; iterate from feedback.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to translate needs into designs and explain trade-offs.
• Own solutions through design, development, deployment and production support; contribute to standards and mentorship.
