Job summary

City of Austin is seeking a Utility Land Development Project Coordinator to oversee and coordinate programs integrating multiple elements across Land Development Code and Utility Criteria Manual. You will work with the AWPIPE plan review team and AULCC to ensure residential and commercial designs comply with TCEQ, LDC, and UCM requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Planning, Architecture, Construction or related field plus five years of program or project management experience.
• Experience may substitute for education up to four years.
• Ability to review plans to ensure compliance with codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate plans to ensure compliance with Texas regulations and City codes.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external agencies to review plans and coordinate schedules.
• Provide recommendations to resolve contentious issues and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Prepare and deliver presentations to management, councils, and committees.
