Austin Water seeks a Utility Land Development Project Coordinator to oversee and coordinate programs integrating multiple elements, working with internal and external stakeholders from inception to post-design.

Under minimal supervision, you will ensure compliance with codes, manage program standards, and provide technical guidance while aligning with city goals and infrastructure priorities.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Planning, Architecture, Construction, or related field with five years of utility program or project management experience.
• Experience may substitute education up to four years.
• Knowledge of plan reviews for utility installations and familiarity with codes and standards.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate and represent Austin Water interests across high-profile programs and projects, aligning goals with codes and standards.
• Coordinate with internal, external, inter-departmental, and multi-agency stakeholders from design through post-design.
• Support scheduling, timelines, and conflict resolution to avoid costs and optimize project delivery.
• Coordinate land development reviews for compliance with Federal, State, and City codes.
• Collaborate with City departments and external agencies to ensure consistency across disciplines.
• Develop program standards, policies, and processes; implement improvements for Land Development Code and Utility Criteria Manual.
